Fun at the funeral parlour ...

Since being diagnosed with terminal cancer - spread from the colon to the liver, operated on, successfully, now returned - it is time for me to research the cost of funerals ......to this end  I have been visiting funeral parlours (in France, where I live !) - the first one I visited for a quote asked where the deceased was ...I said 'there isn't one yet' ...when do you want the funeral ......I don;t know yet ..... ' I want a SIMPLE' funeral - collected from the place of death ( I DONT KNOW YET !) - and taken straight to the crem and ashes scattered in the memorial garden ..... - 'Do you not want a ceremony ?  - NO - what coffin would you like to choose - It is only going to be burned, so I want the cheapest available - first quote, 1,889 euros....next time, the next visit ....
